Before I ever found myself behind the microphone, I was in the classroom trying to make it as a teacher. That career path didn’t exactly pan out the way I’d hoped, but it was ultimately a blessing in disguise! Teaching wasn’t for me, but thankfully my experience as a professional musician lead an easy transition into the performance world of radio and event DJing.

In 2015, I joined the ranks of 88.1FM WTSQ in Charleston. This volunteer powered, independent radio station was where I initially caught “the radio bug.” With a strong foundation in local and alternative music, paired with a deep focus on community, I had the privilege to be a part of building up this amazing radio station through community fund-raising, on-air work, and other behind-the-scenes production and operations.

In 2017, volunteering at WTSQ lead me to another amazing radio opportunity as a part-time producer for the commercial news/talk station 580-WCHS at WVRC Media. Known as “The Voice of Charleston,” WCHS is the flagship station for the WV Metronews Network. I achieved full-time status in 2019, taking on the role of Traffic Manager. Since then, I’ve taken on other various roles including Assistant Promotions Director, sports commentator, and on-air personality for 99.9FM V100 and the former New Country 107.3 WKAZ-FM.

In 2022, I began working as a mobile DJ, performing at nearly 100 or more events every year. From weddings to civic events, corporate Christmas parties to class reunions, I perform in a variety of settings for all ages and walks of life. It is always an honor and a thrill to share my love of music with people throughout WV and beyond! Let’s plan YOUR next event TODAY!
